Supporting over 700 symbols with more than a thousand possible combinations, an equation library, real time visual and LaTex editing, using its own scientific fonts, a fully configurable Speed Bar for fast symbol access, Equations! can be used as standalone or together with any applications supporting OLE, such as MS Office, OpenOffice, WordPerfect Office, Ability Office, etc.
Latex support with real time editing
Equations! has full LaTeX syntax support, allowing the input of 692 (and growing) tags. Latex is processed in real time, which means whatever users write in LaTeX can automatically be seen in visual editing area being the opposite is also true. In Equations! Latex and visual editing are closely interlinked and by combining both users have an unprecedented power and ease in writing scientific equations.
See documents created with Equations! anywhere
Equations! uses OLE technology to work with programs like MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Open Office, Ability Office, Corel WordPerfect Office. This means that unlike some products users do not need to have Equations! installed in a computer in order to see any documents created with it. Users can send documents created with Equations! to friends and colleagues, you can take them to meetings, without worrying about if you will be able to see them or not.
Simple and Customizable UI
Equations! has combo boxes with both graphic representation of symbols and their latex code to faster and better identification. We created also a Speed Bar to quickly access the most commonly used symbols and put all features in plain sight, well organized, so that no confusion can be made. And case all this is not enough we also give users the choice of changing the symbols organization and labeling both in combos and speed bar to better suit their needs.
