World - Collect all the stars on each level to progress to the next. Use springs and platforms to reach those out-of-the-way areas and avoid the spikes and water. Jump on enemies heads to kill them and collect the bonuses.

Super Stars - Control your ship and try and collect as many stars as possible while avoiding the comets. Each time you collect a star another comet will be added to the play area. Pick up the power orb to activate a random feature.
