Calendar Builder software is not a bad choice for those who wish to create their own customized calendars. Of course, you could design a calendar using some other application, but if you don’t wish to spend time on creating tables and entering months and dates, then this program will probably appeal to you since it actually offers many ready-made templates that you can fine-tune.

Calendar Builder offers you 13 layouts, ranging from a simple one month calendar to one month calendars coming with small calendars of several other months, from calendars containing multiple months to week and day planners. If you wish to create a calendar for a year or more, you can select any starting month for the calendar, not necessarily January.

You are welcome to design a calendar the way you like: specify orientation (portrait or landscape), modify fonts and background, and decorate the calendar with a ready-made border. The designs that you create can be saved as style sheets to be used later.

You can add various elements to a calendar, such as text, callouts, and clip art. The software comes with a collection of icons and a list of holidays that can be inserted into cells where the size of cells allows it. You can also add your own events to the list, for example birthday dates.

It is nice that the author took care of international users by providing months names in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian and Russian, and gave the opportunity to decide whether Sunday or Monday should be the first day of the week.

Created calendars can be saved as jpeg or bitmap files for further printing or placing on the web.
