Eastsea CD Ripper lets music junkies extract files from an audio CD disc and save them in 4 popular output formats (MP3, WAV, WMA and OGG Vorbis). This can be especially helpful if you want to play songs from your favorite CD disc on your mp3 player or want to store your music collection in a more compact format. (As CD format takes up more space than mp3, a CD can only hold about 13 - 20 songs in audio CD format. At the same time, mp3 format allows a CD to hold more music - as much as 10 hours of music on one disc.)

Once you insert a CD disk into your CD-ROM, CD Ripper immediately displays music files contained in it. All you have to do is select tracks you want to extract, choose the output format, specify where extracted files should be placed and push the Extract Audio button. Output settings can also be adjusted: e.g. for mp3 you can specify the bit rate, the overall quality (studio or normal) and the channel mode (stereo, J-stereo, mono or dual channel). The high extraction speed is acquired thanks to the fact that copying a CD and generating mp3 files is done at the same time.

Still another opportunity CD ripper offers is converting wav files to mp3, wma and ogg.
