Memory Puzzle
The Memory Puzzle is a game designed to train or at least to test your visual memory. It is based on one’s ability to recall the position of images or characters in a certain environment.
You can choose to play with characters or images, as well as choose the puzzle size. So, you will be shown a group of 28, 40 or 54 images (or characters), all faces down. Each image has a pair. Each time you can open up to two images. By opening images you are supposed to memorize the position of each of them. Then, if you click a matching pair, it opens and will not close again. The game is over when you have opened all the cells.
I could have recommended this Memory Puzzle to children to improve their memory and concentration. However, not all of the objects displayed (like a pair of compasses, a wrench, or a microscope) may be quite familiar to them. So the program seems to suit grown-ups better. Besides, I would like to have an ability to change the background color – the current color may seem too fatiguing.
However, Memory Puzzle gives you a competitive feel. After each game the program counts the points you’ve earned depending on how fast you solved the puzzle and memorizes your score. So next time you should definitely want to try to improve your performance.
