ABC Baby Piano lets you lock your keyboard so that if your curious kid strikes the keys nothing harmful will happen. Indeed, the program will entertain your kid by producing musical sounds and showing pictures associated with the letters.

Different musical instruments are available, such as an accordion, piano, banjo, organ, guitar, horn, etc. Your child can play a melody getting acquainted with sounds of these instruments. However, sounds are played only when the letter keys are pressed and unfortunately sounds are not provided for Q, A, Z and P.

When a particular letter key is pressed, the letter is displayed together with a picture of something starting with this letter. While several pictures are available for a letter, the letters Q, X and Y seem to be ignored. The quality of the pictures leaves much to be desired as they are jagged and blurred.

It should be noted that the software locks only the keyboard, and the mouse still can be used. So you can’t step away being absolutely sure that your kid won’t spoil anything.

If it wasn’t for the evident drawbacks or bugs that are stated above, ABC Baby Piano would be a very nice tool that is both educative and entertaining, and also protecting your information from children.
