Puzzle Tron creates web browser based puzzles from your own pictures. First, you load a picture into the program (conveniently enough, drag and drop is supported). The puzzle size, as well as its complexity, can be adjusted (the maximum number of cells is 20 x 20). Then the program creates a puzzle that you can immediately test in your Internet Explorer. You do a puzzle by dragging and dropping pieces of the photo into the proper cells of the empty grid.

While you are doing the puzzle, the program counts the time and, after you are finished, tells you the score. If you want to share the puzzle you created, it can be uploaded to the community site at www.puzzletron.com.

A puzzle like this can make your friends and family quite happy if it is based on a picture displaying something or somebody familiar. You can make a puzzle from a wedding photo, from a picture of your child or a much loved pet.

Puzzle Tron developers suggest that created puzzles can not only be used for fun, but also published on the net for advertisement purposes.
