The program interface does not look too modern; besides, a new user can get an impression that it is overloaded with functions. Anyway, the program offers just about everything a designer or a home enthusiast needs in order to create an animated banner or even a movie.

To create an animated file, you add images to the list of frames where you can duplicate them, merge, crop, resize, flip or rotate. By the way, the software will prompt you to resize image when you add it.

The program has a built-in image editor containing tools like Brush, Pen, Eyedropper, Eraser, Fill, etc. There is also a special dialog box that lets you edit global and local color palettes. The dialog shows all palette colors with their RGB-values, and you can add new colors, remove existing ones or replace selected colors using a color selection dialog.

Undo and Redo functions allow you to cancel an action if you think it was a mistake. The Animate button on the program toolbar lets you easily preview your animation before saving it. In a word, Advanced GIF Animator offers a bounty of features that cannot be enumerated in a short review.

The program interface, as well as the help document, is localized into 30 languages - this is the maximum number of interface languages I've seen in a program.
