Chinese Character Bible is basically a storage of over 6,500 Hanzi, with the trial version containing only 48 of them. However, be it that simple, the software couldn't be of considerable interest to Chinese learners. The program also features a vivid stroke-by-stroke full-screen demonstration of how Chinese characters are drawn. Each of them is additionally animated in etymology-based multicolored components and pronounced by a native speaker.
Other numerous functions of the program can be accessed either via right-click menu or pop-up menu displayed when moving the cursor to the right side of the desktop. They comprise Chinese-Chinese-English dictionary, practice games and tests, flash cards, texts for reading (with the opportunity of importing them) and Hanzi lists.
Chinese Character Bible is indeed a profound Chinese learning tool. But do not be taken in by the seeming simplicity of the program and the developers' promises that even beginners can successfully master their Chinese with the help of the Bible. Unless you are proficient enough in the language, working with the software can be a useless waste of time for you.
