Have you ever dreamt of gazing down on our planet from space? If so, now you've got an opportunity to enjoy this splendid view even without leaving your workplace.

Just run the screensaver - and the Earth half-lit by the sun will come to view. While revolving on its axis very slowly, at the speed it actually does, the planet exposes its darker side to sun rays together with uncovering the world's largest cities that are marked with bright spots. What's more curious, the real-time position of the planets determines which part of the planet is pictured lit up. In other words, you see it just as it looks like now, the moment you are running the program.

On the upside, there is a zoom in/ out function, which lets you see the planet much closer, and a clock displayed in the corner. The presence of the latter option seems controversial though, as to many it may seem to spoil the view. Finally, if the picture were not 'decorated' with the developers' site name, it would look even more attractive.
