Color-Style is a brilliant program to help you design the interior and exterior of your home.

Despite the seeming complexity, the software is very easy to operate - just upload a photo and change the design. The program offers some coloration models of interiors, log houses, stone houses and wooden houses as well.

What amazed us most is that the software accurately detects the components of an image, such as roofs, walls, facades, floor, furniture, etc. And when users want to apply a color to this or that component, they only have to pick a color and click the component to be colorized. What is pleasing, the image does not cease to look like a 3D-picture: all the shadows and shades are retained.

What comes to colors, the software features literally thousands of them. They are grouped into colour cards and each has a name. It comes in very handy that users can compose their own color schemes just by hitting a couple of buttons. First, you choose a color to be matched, then determine the number of colors to be added and finally hit the Match button - and the software picks out matching colors from the color card. These colors (or any other colors) can be saved in a separate list for later use.

If you find it very time-consuming to select colors manually, you can turn on the demonstration mode. In this case, the program will apply colors to the components of an image randomly. You can set the repaint interval (in seconds), the model switching pause (in minutes) and determine some coloration settings. As you see the changing coloration designs, you can stop as soon as you see a variant you like. This color scheme can be memorized (it will then be displayed in a row below the main window), and you can go on using the demonstration mode. When the memorized color schemes are enough, you can proceed to the color scheme comparison mode, which allows users to see the images close to each other and pick out the best one.

To add to everything told above, the software also features a calculator, with the help of which users can easily calculate how much money they will need if they are going to bring the chosen design to life.

Overall, in our tests, the software performed brilliantly and impressed us greatly. It is very unfortunate though that the trial version does not allow uploading users' own photos. Due to this fact, we did not manage to test whether the software detects the components of an image as well as in coloration models. It is a crucial point, because otherwise the program will not be able to colorize pictures adequately. However, the overall performance of the software fills us with confidence that the program will not let its users down at this point.
