Batch it! Ultra is an all-in-one tool for batch image resizing, basic image adjustments, adding captions, watermarks and frames, renaming files, etc. Unlike in other apps of the kind, there is the image slicing function designed to prevent, or at least make it harder for people to steal your images from the net.

What may scare off newcomers is a crowded, chaotic interface with the multitude of sections and panes. Moreover, not all tabs are clearly labeled to help users understand their contents. Surprisingly, you cannot load files using the familiar File menu item; instead, there are two separate buttons (Load File and Load folder) at the bottom. We also found it inconvenient that the 'after' window does not display applied changes immediately but only after you've hit the Preview button.

Though the software offers a multitude of functions for batch image processing, the interface does not make all of them easily accessible and evident for users. However, those who take the time to get familiar with the interface will find this program useful.
